Aftercare

The Grade 0 section of the Junior Preparatory is the venue for Aftercare. This is a separate area with a well-resourced playground, constant supervision and controlled access.

Auditorium

Our raked auditorium seats 464 and has a large stage as well as state-of-the-art sound and lighting facilities to create atmospheric and technically sophisticated music and drama events.

Basketball Courts

We have two dedicated basketball courts.

Country Readiness Pre-school

This private pre-school is situated on the Dainfern College campus and is one of our main feeder schools. While Dainfern College has no stake in the pre-school, staff do collaborate regularly to ensure a happy and seamless transition into Grade 0.

Computer facilities

We have four fully equipped computer labs that are used by the whole College as well as floating banks of iPads.

Cricket Academy

A dedicated section on campus used for one-on-one coaching and skills refinement for our cricketers.

High Performance Centre

This dedicated gym is available to all students so they can work on their general fitness. A team of coaches is available to give students specialist one-on-one coaching (for parents’ account).

Hockey Astro

Our artificial turf hockey pitch is well used throughout the year. The Astro is floodlit, too, and our night festivals are greatly enjoyed by players and spectators alike.

Lecture Theatre

A raked presentation room seating 120 with full audio-visual facilities.

Main Oval

Used for cricket, rugby and athletics fixtures, this field is the heart of sports activities during the year, and is also used for a number of College events like family fun days.

Media Centre

A versatile space that incorporates library facilities for the whole College as well as cosy reading nooks, quiet study areas and an Apple Mac lab.

Multipurpose Hall

This is used for indoor hockey matches, indoor cricket coaching and as a backup sports venue in inclement weather. Our Grade 10-12 students write exams here and it is also a wonderful venue for whole College events when we can comfortably seat 1600.

Music Centre

In addition to the Music admin office and numerous individual teaching rooms, the Music department has three dedicated classrooms with flexible walls that can be removed to set up different performance spaces.

Student Support Centre

There are two dedicated student support centres to give pupils and students across the College academic support, emotional counselling and occupational and speech therapy.

Swimming Pools

Our ten-lane floodlit pool is used for aquatics training, day and night galas and water polo matches. The smaller training pool is heated and is used to teach younger pupils to swim.

Tennis/Netball Courts

The 11 courts we have on campus are used for tennis all year round as well as for netball in the winter season.

Tuckshops

There are two tuckshops on campus – one serving the Junior Prep and one for the rest of the College. A selection of healthy hot and cold meals can be pre-ordered for students.
