AFTERCARE
Dainfern College Aftercare is an outsourced service for our Preparatory School students by Club Engage.
The programme follows the REACH framework, which ensures children experience a thoughtful mix of physical activity, exploration, creativity, wellbeing, and hands-on making throughout the week. This approach allows for variety while maintaining a clear, consistent structure that supports different interests, energy levels, and developmental needs.
Children may spend one afternoon immersed in energetic play, another experimenting and discovering, and another creating or expressing themselves, all within a safe, supervised environment that values both movement and calm.
REACH helps ensure that aftercare is not just a place to wait for collection, but a meaningful extension of the school day where children feel engaged, supported, and happy.
- Aftercare is available immediately after school for all children as well as those attending our on-campus pre-school, Country Readiness.
- ‘Beforecare’ is offered during the school term from 06h30 to 07h30.
- Holiday care is available for all holidays throughout the year, including midterm breaks, and is open in the first week of December.
