The Dainfern College Music Centre

MUSIC CENTRE

“Life without music is unthinkable.”

~ Leonard Bernstein

The Dainfern College Music Centre is a lively hub of creative and musical activity where everyone is welcomed. Our aim is to help our students find their musical identity and take their music beyond their lessons into their lives. Our students are entered into ABRSM and Trinity examinations in both practical and theory as well as Eisteddfodau and competitions for a broader musical experience.

Our talented team of teachers are highly skilled and professional musicians and offer individual lessons in the following instruments:

  • Piano
  • Jazz Piano
  • Keyboard
  • Voice
  • Violin
  • ‘Cello
  • Guitar (Classical, Electric & Bass)
  • Trumpet
  • Trombone
  • Clarinet
  • Flute
  • Saxophone
  • Drums

Composing

There is a Music lab in the Music Centre for students who wish to learn music composition.

Ensembles, bands & choirs

In addition to solo performance opportunities, Dainfern College students studying music are also able to join our many ensembles, bands and choirs that feature at all Dainfern College events and in concerts and festivals throughout the year.
