13 Jan Celebrating our 2024 A Level results
Our Cambridge A Level students do us proud
2024 Cambridge International examination results
We are proud to announce a superb set of A Level results in the 2024 Cambridge Assessment International Education examinations.
These results were achieved by the final cohort of Cambridge students from Dainfern College who have now completed their studies. The College offered the Cambridge International A Level programme as an academic option from 2020-2024, alongside our excellent IEB Matric academic offering. The College has taken the strategic decision to discontinue this offering and focus on the National Senior Certificate as offered by the IEB as the sole exit point qualification going forward. We are most grateful to our parents and staff for their support of this programme over the past five years.
Class of 2024
The results from the final A-Level Class of 2024 are cause for celebration of the excellent achievements of the three students who completed their examinations in 2024.
The students who wrote the A Level examinations upheld our proud tradition of academic excellence and achieved a 100% pass and 100% access to university studies. Between them, they wrote 9 subjects and achieved five ‘A’ symbols and four ‘B’ symbols. We are particularly proud of the fact that they all achieved an ‘A’ for Mathematics. For those unfamiliar with the Cambridge system, an ‘A’ at A Level is equivalent to a mark in the 80-89% range.
The success of these students can be attributed to their own hard work and determination as well as the guidance and dedication of their educators. I therefore also congratulate our Cambridge staff, under the leadership of Mrs Natalie Mullany, our Head of Cambridge Studies, for their commitment and superb teaching.
We are most grateful for the wholehearted support of our parents and salute the achievements of our Cambridge students in the Class of 2024.
