Amber Fairon stars for SA Schools

Grade 10 hockey star Amber Fairon recently represented South Africa in the Dato Mirnawan Cup in Malaysia.

Amber was selected to represent the South Africa School Hockey u17 team where they played against Japan, Malaysia, Australia as well as India.

She had a brilliant tournament herself which saw her finish as the top goal scorer of the tournament as well as a Player of the Match award against Malaysia A when South Africa won 7-0.

Overall, the team finished fourth, losing out to India 2-0 in the 3/4 play off.
