The Dainfern College Foundation and Parents' Association arrange a monthly feeding scheme at ReShomile Primary School in Diepsloot.

For the October feed, Junior Prep parent Kara Elliott (pictured with her husband Shawn) collected R4 000 from their friends for Kara's birthday. They used that money to buy school shoes, school bags, shorts and shirts for children at Reshomile.

Along with these items, the children also received a month's supply of food.

Thank you, Mr and Mrs Elliot, for your generosity!

The Grade 5 students enjoyed a visit from MobileZoo - an organisation dedicated to the rescue and relocation of exotic animals.

The students learnt the names of the animals in Afrikaans as well as the importance of choosing pets which are safe and easy to care for. There was a wonderful mixture of cute and cuddly animals and scary critters.
