“Dainfern College develops skills for life required to unlock unique personal potential and to nurture creative thinkers with the confidence to become leaders – through the provision of an innovative, relevant and quality education.”
Dainfern College is co-educational day school committed to truly educating a child for life, and developing their academic, cultural, sporting, leadership and service skills, values and knowledge in the broadest way. We are a family of just over 1100 students from Grades 0 to 12. We want Dainfern College to be primarily known as one of the most respected co-educational independent schools in South Africa because of the pioneering and transforming education it gives the girls and boys that are part of the Dainfern College family.
The School has a proud academic history which has been built around strong and positive educational leadership, matched by excellence in teaching and pastoral care and supported by a wide range of co-curricular activities. A key part of our mission is to provide a rigorous engagement within a unique and stimulating educational, technological and caring environment which encourages students to achieve their potential through the development of their self-competence and self-esteem.
Educating children is a great responsibility and privilege. If you are a parent of a child already at the school, thank you for entrusting us with that job. If you are considering sending your child to Dainfern College, please come and see the school, meet the children staff and parents who make up the Dainfern College family and talk to us about our vision for the College in the coming years. Alternatively, our website will give you a wonderful glimpse into our special school.
It is my pleasure to invite you to get to know more about our wonderful school.
