Construction work has continued unabated during the school holidays as one project nears completion and another gets off the ground. The curved roofing sections over the concrete stands are now in place and we are on track to officially open the stands and new classroom block on Founders' Day in September.
The Multi-Purpose Hall is also now under way! We broke ground in August and the area below the junior tennis courts is being cleared, with materials already on site. The photos below show our ground-breaking ceremony with Mrs Gower-Jackson, Mr West, Mr Webb, together with Mr Max Blecher, who heads the building sub-committee on the Board of Governors. The third of these photos also includes all those involved in the building process - the architect, quantity surveyor and builders - as well as Board Chairman Mr Seamus Casserly.
