Dainfern College

On Friday 11 March the A-swimming team competed in the annual Prestige Gala which was hosted at Dainfern College. The swimmers competed against the eight other schools that make up the A-league for co-educational private schools. All the swimmers gave of their best and on more than one occasion the difference between first and second place was one hundredth of a second. Although the final result was not the win we were aiming for, our swimmers gave of their best and we can certainly be proud of their achievements.

Dainfern College placed second in the boys' category and won the girls' category which meant we placed second overall. The final points were as follows:

3. De La Salle: 277

Out of the 49 events Dainfern College achieved 13 first places, 7 second places and 10 third places and broke five records. Well done to the following swimmers for their achievements in the individual races:
