Dainfern College

Dainfern College swimmers recently enjoyed a weekend training clinic with South African Olympian Penny Heyns. Penny won a double gold for the 100m and 200m breaststroke at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. She has broken 14 world records and is the only person in history to hold the 50m, 100m and 200m breaststroke world records at one time.

The clinic involved stroke work, motivational talks and various swimming drills. The weekend of swimming ended with each swimmer having their photo taken with the Olympic medalist and her medals!
