The Grade 7 Senior Councillors, House Captains, Deputy Honours Councillors and Honours Councillors were announced at the Senior Preparatory Leadership Assembly in the last week of term.
All Grade 7s have been given the opportunity to serve as a school councillor, House captain or LRC member throughout the year. By the end of the second term, most of the Grade 7s had seen one another in leadership roles, which helped them make informed decisions during the voting process. This process complies strictly with the core values of our school: Fortitude, Integrity, Self-Discipline, Humanity, Accountability and Respect. Staff were also given the opportunity to vote.
We congratulate the following Grade 7 students on their appointment:
- Nicholas van der Meulen: Honours Councillor - Anda Nyati: Honours Councillor - Daniel Buwalda: Deputy Honours Councillor - Kate Forbes: Deputy Honours Councillor - Hadley Dickinson: Griffin House Captain - Brandon Gray: Griffin House Captain - Jacqueline Thoolen: Kraken House Captain - Ashraf Monareng: Kraken House Captain - Emma Zyde: Phoenix House Captain - Louis van Lennep: Phoenix House Captain - Kyle Harvett - Nina Holloway - Antonie Muller - Emma Oelschig - Wesley Proxenos - Luke Rosenberg - Amy Smith - Brittany Smith - Monique Teixeira - Ben Thieme
Good luck for the forthcoming term and remember to make the best of your time as leaders of the Preparatory School!
