Sports Philosophy & Code of Conduct
Sport at preparatory school level is an outlet for children and at Dainfern College we encourage our pupils to play sport. We want to develop children physically and make them passionate about sport. The only way to do this is to expose them to a variety of sports and make it fun.
Dainfern College is a member of SAHISA - the Southern African Heads of Schools' Association. Member schools are committed to promoting an active involvement in sport for all of their pupils, seeking both the widest possible pupil participation and the pursuit of excellence. That commitment is based upon the value that sport can have for pupils, in contributing to a healthy way of life, in developing confidence and self-esteem, in encouraging involvement in a team and in competition within a culture of good conduct and sportsmanship.
