Our Grade 1s recently enjoyed some activities to explore the concepyt of capacity. First they estimated how many spoons of water it would take to fill a cup. Then they got into their groups and went outside and measured. After recording their results, they moved onto the next objects. They enjoyed working in groups and the playground was buzzing with excitement.
