Our Grade 3s ran in the Cross Country last week - this is what some of them had to say:

I loved cross-country, it was so much fun. - Marylin Bramwell

I felt very nervous when it was about to start. We lined up ready for the race. Finally the whistle blew. I sprinted and overtook a lot of people but I was not able to overtake them all. But I finished in fifth place! - Jibraeel Chenia

I felt so determined to come first. I started running and felt very energetic but when I got to the third field I started to tire. I kept trying to power through. When I got to the finish I was so proud of myself. I can tenth. - Phumelele Tshabalala

The results for Grade 3 were as follows:

Boys: 1^st:  Sean Casserly; 2^nd: Tapiwa Mushonga;  3^rd: Kyle Jeans.

Girls: 1^st: Holly McDonald; 2^nd: Kaylyn Fuller; 3^rd: Michaela Swinburn.
